Alonissos may be a little more difficult to reach than other more “popular” or well known Greek islands…. but we guarantee that it is well worth the effort when you get here!!
There are several ways to reach Alonissos depending on your starting point. If you are in the Athens area you can embark from Mandoudi (port of Kymasi) on the island of Evoia or take a flight to Skiathos and connect to a ferry or catamaran to Alonissos. From Central Greece the best embarkation point is the port of Volos. There is also service from Thessaloniki late in the summer.
