A journey as beautiful as the destination
If you are traveling to Alonissos from Athens, these are your options to reach us:
1) Internal flight from Athens airport to Skiathos – for schedules and reservations please check Aegean Airways or Sky Express – from Skiathos you then have several choices to connect to a ferry or flying dolphin for your onward journey to Alonissos – for schedules please check www.openseas.gr
2) To access the island of Alonissos from Athens you have to reach the port of Kymasi – also known as Mandoudi port. To facilitate your journey to and from the port of Kymasi, there is a passenger bus service from the centre of Athens. The bus leaves Liossion Bus Station (260 Liosion St) schedules can be found on the KTEL website.
The bus synchronizes with the ferries to Alonissos. Please always confirm bus service availability and book your bus ticket in advance. Reserved tickets should be collected at least 1.5 hours before the scheduled bus departure.
