General

Albedo Travel offers boat tours along the coastline of Alonissos Island and its surrounding areas through our affiliates.

By booking a ticket you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Understanding and complying with these rules is essential for the safety and enjoyment of all passengers.

The Crew is always in charge, and safety is our top priority. Please follow all instructions provided by the Captain and crew at all times.

Terms & Conditions

  • Customers must arrive at the departure point at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Failure to do so may result in missing the trip. No compensation will be provided for missed departures.
  • Albedo Travel reserves the right to alter routes, departure points, or return locations due to weather conditions, shallow waters, or other valid operational reasons which is solely at the discretion of the Captain.
  • The Captain has the right to return to port at any time if conditions are deemed unsafe or unsuitable. Passengers will be informed as early as possible.
  • When booking individual spaces, all reserved seats must be paid for, regardless of no-shows or cancellations. Please ensure your final numbers before confirming your
    booking.
  • The Crew reserves the right to refuse boarding to any individual for safety or operational reasons.
  • Photos and videos taken during the trip may be used for marketing and social media purposes.

Liability of Albedo Travel

  • Albedo Travel is not responsible for loss or damage to passengers’ personal belongings.
    All items are brought on board at the passenger’s own risk.
  • Albedo Travel is not liable for any injury or damage sustained while boarding or disembarking from the boat or jetty.
  • All vessels offered by Albedo Travel are insured for third party liability.

Customer Responsibility

  • Passengers must behave in a safe and respectful manner at all times.
  • All safety instructions given by the Captain and crew must be followed. Failure to comply may result in termination of the trip without refund.
  • All personal belongings and equipment remain the sole responsibility of the passenger.
  • Participation in all activities is entirely at the passenger’s own risk.

General Liability

  • Albedo Travel is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage occurring before, during, or after the trip, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct by the individual boat Captain or crew.
  • Any compensation, where applicable, is limited to the cost of the trip.
  • Children must always be supervised by their parents or guardians. Life jackets are available upon request.
  • In cases of force majeure (e.g., extreme weather, natural events), Albedo Travel is not obligated to provide compensation.

Health & Safety

  • Passengers are responsible for ensuring they are fit to participate in the trip.
  • Any medical conditions, illnesses, or disabilities must be disclosed at the time of booking.
  • Albedo Travel reserves the right to deny access to the boat or jetty for reasons including safety, capacity, or public order.

Payments

  • Upon booking, a confirmation will be provided.
  • The full balance must be paid before departure
  • Cancellations must be made in writing only.

Cancellations & Changes

  • Please choose your date carefully. Once booked, your space is reserved and other customers may be declined.
  • Valid reasons for cancellation include unsafe weather conditions, as determined by the Captain.
  • In cases of misconduct (including alcohol-related behavior), the Captain may terminate the trip without refund.
  • Trips cancelled by Albedo Travel due to weather or unforeseen issues (e.g., mechanical failure) will be fully refunded or rescheduled (subject to availability).
  • Date changes may be possible if requested at least 5 days in advance, subject to availability and operator discretion.
  • Customers must be flexible in accepting alternative dates.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the trip will incur full charges.
  • No-shows will be charged in full and are not eligible for rescheduling.
  • Individual bookings do not guarantee departure if minimum passenger numbers are not met.
