Kalovoulos

The tour starts in Patitiri harbour and Jason leads you up the old donkey track to the old village, Palia Alonissos situated 200 meters above sea level. From here the tour continues up to the top of Kalovoulos (354 metres above sea level). Kalovoulos is the southern promontory of Alonissos and as you climb to the top, your efforts are rewarded by a wonderful view.

We return to the Old Village and you are taken on a tour around the village. Jason tells you about its history, with its post-Byzantine churches and fortifications. The tour continues down to Megalos Mourtias beach where you can have a swim in the clear water. From here we return to Patitiri along the coast.
