We go by bus to Rahes and start the tour from here. Jason takes you up towards Tourkovigla, one of the prettiest spots for views over the southern part of the island. From here the tour passes down through the narrow ravine, Vathi to Rema and then to the bay of Megali Ammos. We pass by the beautiful, small beaches facing the west coast of Alonissos and will have our lunchbreak on one of them. There will be time for a swim. After the break the tour continues up through the pinewoods to the two old post-Byzantine chapels of Agii Anargiri situated dramatically at the edge of the cliff. Jason tells you about the history of the chapels and you have time to enjoy the atmosphere of this lovely spot. We continue along the paths through the woods and passing by Mega Nero we return to Patitiri.
